Hi All,

I live in Toronto and need to buy Phase 9 File on my name. Can I do it while I am in Canada?

Any advise?

Yes you can buy DHA Phase 9 File on your name without traveling to Pakistan.You need two passport size pictures, NIC Copy, Foreign Visa or passport copy . Your family member, relative or your close friend (holding his own NIC)is needed for transferring file/plot on your behalf. Funds should be in pakistan at the time of transfer.You will recieve allotment letter when you will visit physically DHA Lahore Office

I am also in Canada and will decide to sell either a 1 kanal plot in Defence phase 6 or 1 phase 9 one kanal file that I own, or both, in the next few days. Do I need to be physically present for the transfer? Thanks for the reply, in advance.

Dear Faisal , There two ways in your case

1. You have to come physically to pakistan to sell your property in DHA Lahore.


2.It is possible if buyer and seller trust each other Completely.This process take three months to complete the transfer You will have to sign all transfer documents in Pakistan embassy and then send these docs to DHA Lahore office. DHA will than resend these documents back to same Pakistan embassy once again for verification.
