I am an old patient of osteriopores and unfortunately both of my knee have badly been damaged due to this disease of bones.I know that this is not the correct plateform to discuss such issues but I feel that my Lahore friends visiting this website would definitely be in a position to guide me.I want to have my these knees replaced one by one through the surgical operations by some orthopadic surgeion but I do not know the name of most competent Orthopadic surgeion of Lahore.I shall apprecite if my Lahore!s friends could guide me about the name of Orthopadic Surgeion to whom I may visit and discuss the issue. My second problem is to obtain two/three bags of Blood of Group A Positive. Kindly let me know the name of blood Banks from where I could get these bags when needed. Thanks and best regards,

I am in UAE since many years now. But until few years before there were only two names for knee replacement surgery. One is Dr. Amir Aziz in Ghurki hospital Jallo and other one is Dr. Ghazanfar Ali Shah in Doctors' hospital Joher Town |

If you can travel to karachi the best hospital is AO clinic of Dr. Syed Muhammad Ali shah. There is no comparasion of this hospital in pakistan. |

Dr Ahsan Shameem at Shaukat Khanam Hospital used to do total knee replacements. Both at the same time. I have seen his surgery and it is quite good from Pakistan's standard.
TKR in osteoporosis does not have a very good outcome as bone density is quite low . The Operating surgeon may be able to tell you the prognosis depending on your bone density. |
