Dear CMY,
I am living in UK at present and have a valid NICOP ( National identity card for over seas Pakistanis) but my National ID card has expired. Can I use my NICOP for any transfers in DHA or it has to be National ID card?Thanks.

once u have NICOP your previous National id no longer valid,so u should use NICOP for all transactions. |

NICOP is acceptable but ID card issued in Urdu is preferred for any transactions within Pakistan. |

My understanding is that NICOP is for visa free entry in Pakistan and can be used as ID card in Pakistan but one can still get the NIC from NADRA even if has the NICOP. |

NICOP works in DHA. My ID card is also expired and I used the NICOP to transfer the plot on my name. |
