It's funny how these politicians use our tax payer's money to build such things and then they turn around and put their name on it.

Although I am person from PML(N). But being an educated person and Pakistani, I personally agree with MR. Nabeel. These Interchanges should be in the name og our great Quaid e Azam, Allama Iqbal, Liaqat Ali Khan, Fatima Jinnah.............. Instead of Nawaz Sharif interchange, Benazir air port..............
Being a Pakistani I protest against this. This is not the right of these stupid politicians. who have never ever done a single good thing for our Pakistan. Even they ever time tried to destroy our Pakistan.
I also duly agree with Mr Nabeel in a sense that these people have not spent a single paisa over this. Rather they have seposietd all of thier money outside the Pakistan. If these Politicians bring all of thier money back and invest in this country then we will be again ASIAN TIGER.

Friends!!! everything don't have to be Allama Iqbal and Quaid e Azam. 70-80% of roads, schools, colleges are under their names. Have any one of them produced even a single Iqbal or Quaid...??? naming is merely symbolism and let it be like that.

Another Good idea, interchanges name can made on the names of our Shudas. who have really given thier lives for this country.

Anothwe view is if an interchange name is on politician name then please Curse them so that every second they got curses by every Pakistani people.

If we will not recognize our national leaders then who will recongnize them in the world. Even now a days no one in foreign country knows about our Quaid rather they know about Gandhi.........

I was a true supporter of PML, but what they did with Jawaid Hashmi is nor acceptable at all. If these brothers couldn't be sincer with a man of principle who was also a very close family friend, they would never be sincer and loyal to anyone - don't mention the interests of Pakistan - what they need is to protect their interests. Mr. Raheel: What do you mean by National Leaders? If you mean M. Ali Jinnah and Iqbal, everyone knows them. If you mean the people in power - past and present - they are not our leaders.

Discussion is going in the wrong direction. I only said that famous places, interchanges.......... should be in the name of our national leaders (Quaid e Azam, Allama Iqbal....) / National Heros (Aziz Bhatti, Rashid Minhas......) / Religious (Madni, Usmania, Maki........).
why we are naming them based on all currupted politicians like Nawaz Sharif, Asif Zardari, and the politicians who nhave died.
I really donot like even the word of politician. These people are responsible fro current circumstances of our beloved Pakistan.

This is cheap. very very cheap from cheap our cheap politicians who think they r LEADERS, there is a big difference among politicians and LEADERS, i AGREE WITH ALLOT OF PPL here, they dnt deserve to be named like that. they dnt participate in these things infact MR nawaz SHARIF holds no post in our govt but his protocol is likes of PM. means they spend our money but they damm participate. so they not at all eligible or called as LEADER.

Everyone has right to give their views but the fact is that we cannot compare any current political leader with Mr. Nawaz Shareef, he is sincere, honest and wants always to do better and better for Pakistan, he has done lot of development in Pakistan, for example Motorway, green channels in the Airports, he has changed the Map of Lahore in terms of road construction/underpasses etc, this is the reason people of Lahore are love with him and no one can win a single seat in Lahore. If someone doing better for Pakistan and Lahore so there is no harm to put his name as Nawaz Sharif Interchange. Honestly you tell me name of any person who did development work in Lahore better than Nawaz Shareef.

I have following questions. Hope that you will answer:

1- Did Nawaz Sharif has taken any his own intitiative in Pakistan during his Government? Except Yellow CAB scheme with no controls and put Banks into huge debts???? Please be reminded that Motor Way, Atomoic energy.... are not his govt inititiatives and this knows all Pakistanis.

2- What he has done to increase Pakistan Rupee Value?? I remember during his govt Dollar was majorly hiked and Paksitan Ruppee devalued which effected out balance of Payments and ultimately Pakistan Balance Sheet?????

3- What he did for the poor people to reduce the inflation???? Nothing

4- What he did to imporve the quality of poor people life???

5- Whats he did for Law enforcement during his Govt...?? Nothing...

6- What he did in building good relations with other countries and recognizing Pakistan?? Nothing

7- what he did to porvide good hospital infrastrutre for the people??? Nothing

8- what policies he drafted to boost our Textile and Sugar Industry which is back bone of our country from farming till cloth??? Nothing.....

9- what is the GDP rate during his Govt...?

These are really very basic questions and People of Pakistan should knows about these facts........... I also have same grounds for other Stupid Politicians as well.

i dont think anything bad in it. he is 2 times prime minister of pakistan. and all over the world when any new project is build its named after famous personalities. but in pakistan we all know that who is having problem with these names.

Dear those who are keeping the names of different places on their names have done something of their nations. take the example of Shaikh Zayed in Dubai, When he visited Pakistan in 1966 and wanted to meet Gen Ayub, Gen Ayub asked to his ADC to bring map of Middle East that where is Dubai and now see the situation of UAE and Dubai. our politicians are finding the places to live here. it came into independence 1971 whereas pakistan in 1947. these are the people who have done something for their nation and can name whatever they want. not our 3rd class who have looted and looted. Sharm mer gai ha ham ma bi aor un ma bhi.
Nawaz Sharif party remained 5 times cheif minister of 60% of pakistan. and 02 primie minister. now again asking for 06 times, what he will do now. same with PPP. Ham phir bhi nawaz sharif, PPP. jO LOG APNA AP SA MUKHLAS NAHIN WO AGLI GENERATION KA LIA KIA SOCHAIN GA.

To all Shareef lovers: You all sound like he is an angel and Pakistan was heaven when he was prime minister. How come i never see that heaven. If he was that good of leader than why Pakistan and especially Punjab look like shit today.

I think even dictator Musharraf was way better than shareef and zardari combined.

Only person that i am hopeful about is Imran Khan. I register for first time and i will vote for him....Inshallah.
