dear aitzaz ahmad,go to sector-c,bcos ghori block is near gunda nalla, bad smell comes some time(due to wind direction)

Mr. Naseem. Is it your personal experience or only observation or imagination. Although I do not live there but you are the first person saying this. I know many people living there but no such comment.

Hudaira Drain if quite far from Ghouri Block (After the Meadows & parallel to the defence road). It will not affect Ghouri Block in any way. I believe location of Ghouri Block is good.

@khan,i do not live there frankly speaking but i go bahria often,i personally experienced once when i was standing nearby commercial plaza, alflah mosque.mr.aitezaz can confirm this from residents of ghori block

That is what I wanted to point out. Please post your comments in objective manner. From the postings of AG I get the impression that he lives and knows a lot about Bahria Town. I will give his comments a lot more weight.

The area we are talking about is like a rectangle with defence road & 100 ft wide road (from BT Entrance to main Bouleward) on which Alflah Mosque & commercial area are located as opposit sides & Canal Road (From Bahria Chowk to Bahria Entrance) & BT Main Bouleward (150 ft. wide road) from peacock intersection to Meadows( hopefully to be extended to defence road)as other two opposite sides. Hudaira Drain runs parallel to Defence road. So Al Flah Mosque & nearby commercial area are The Farthest Point from Hudaira Drain.
I am not yet living permanently in BT Lahore but, yes, I have been to BT Design Studio & Commercial area a number of times for depositing different fees in the bank. I have not come across any bad smell in thiis area.
A few months ago I did caution a brother who intended to buy a plot in Sukh Chayn to visit the site before finalising the deal. I will again caution all those who intend to buy plots in Sukh Chayn, Canal Gardens/TIP or those blocks of sector C which are near the Rohi Nala to Physically Visit the site before finalising the deal. No one can afford to invest his savings of whole life in such a place where he can not live comfortably.

Nice and educational comments from AG. I have visited Sukh Chayn and talked to many people there about proximity of the drain. Only once did some mention about it in the summer of 2008. I further probed into it.It revealed that drain was too small and deep and open so no smell comes out of it. There was a poultry feed factory some where which would spit out that odor. It looks that either it has been closed or have improvised its process that no such event has been reported now.
