Can someone tell me about the Gulberg in Islamabad. This is IBECHS housing society. Is it good place to buy 1k and build house ?
How long it can take to build house there ?

Anyone knows any update - possession, houses construction started or not, etc ?

Yes, it is safer investment than DHA Valley. Visit the site and you will find blocks being developed. Possession will be given in 1 year time frame for developed blocks. House construction would begin in 2-3 year time frame as per my observation.

Yp it looks good for long term. Could take 5-6 yrs o develop and u cud then make a house. Naval anchorage is 3 k ahead buta much better place where people are alreaady living. Prices are also reasonable.

35x70 price ranges from 950,000 to 1,500,000 depending upon block and location.

Naval Anchorage is good but has following issues.

Very narrow streets 25 feet.
No leveled plot. Construction cost is very high in Naval Anchorage due to unlevelled plots.
No commercial center in close vicinity.

You can find one for around PKR 1,000,000 with good location in T block.
