AWT stands for Army Welfare Trust, primarily for the welfare of retired army personnel, relatives of martyrs. It is a well secure scheme. Development work is complete. Some houses are already built there and some are under construction. Perhaps 3 or 4 plazas already built at Central Commercial Area. AWT 2 is located about 2 km from Raiwind Road on the road leading towards Sharif Medical Complex (near the village Asal Lakhowal). |
