Dear All,
i am visiting lahore in march. I am planning to invest 4 million in property. I need sincere advice from my friends over here. Also considering that i am in uae and my money is in dollars, should i consider investing now or keep my dollars. I can hold the property for next 10 years.

Dear Hassan.
1. If you are single/have very small kids & do not intend to move to Pakistan in the next decade or so keeping money in foreign exchange is not a bad idea.
2. If you need to have a house in Pakistan in the next 5 years or so then go for 2 nos. 10 marla plots in BT Lahore sector C. It is like building your 10 marla house today because, I believe, after 5 years you will be able to get enough money to build your house by selling one of the two plots. For expatriates BT Lahore is really suitable place to live & in future it may not be easy for you to buy a plot there.
3. There is a saying "Allah (SWT) Ka Kam" which can't be explained by the human brain/human knowledge.
Example: I bought a 5 marla commercial plot in BT Lahore sector C in 3.3 million a year ago. Its current price is around 7.5 million. At least I have no way to explain this. So as advised by brother Maqsood we should have faith on Allah (SWT) & pray for his mercy.
