Recently I saw the map isued by Bahria Town for Phase-9 Rawalpindi on May 14th. This is totally different from the map posted at the time of their ad. for overseas block. Golf course was part of Phase -9 , but it seems now its part of Phase -8. One of the overseas block was also part of phase -9 & one block was of Phase -8. Can somebody can explain.
Also in new map of Phase -9, I've observed discrepancies as my two corner plots as per Digital Record are corner, but now shown in middle. What a mess!!

Overseas block has actually improved its location from what was advertised at the time of subscription. It is now more upfront to GT road and on the other bank of soan river next to Phase I DHA Ext. It will have everything that Lahore overseas has plus a huge mall and Golf course. Phase 8 map is also firm and plot numbers are out. It doenst have a golf course but has shanzeliza (similar to paris), Bahria University, a floating mosque, a lake all around, next to the pindi ring road, and river soan park. If it is built in the same manner as the map and at Bahrias standards(and when it is built???) it will be a treat to watch. However, phase 9 has been a mess. It was issued first in Jan-05 and investors alligned their port follios as per that map. This map only showing the blocks but the plot numbers were not shown. Recently in May a REVISION was issued showing completely differnt block allignement and plot number marked. As every one complaint to Bahria about this so they decided to change it back to the one issued in Januray with minor alterations. This actually is amazing that a map of nearly 44000 canal of land is being taken so lightly and casually by Bahria. Now a new map (similar to the one issued in Januyary) is being awaited by public. |
