Just saw the map of DHA Phase V-extension. It is available on DHA website within the Phase 5 map.
Now let's hear from CDW and other die-hard supporters of 5-extension, how is the map better than phase 8, 6, 7 or even DHA TOWN phase 9? There is no connection to phase 5 which was always obvious because of the ring road passing between. There are huge villages and settlements right in the middle of the area and also all around it. In fact, I just noticed that no plot in the map is more than a stone's throw away from either a village or settlements or small constructions along kamahan road and beyond. What's the point of living near an interchange or phase 5 when the house where you will spend 20 hours a day is located amongst such unpleasant features, very badly town planned society and the chances of getting an even worse location plot so high.
I hope LRE will not delete this post because now at least the map is out. Thanks

Thanks for this useful post. What are unpleasant features? This is very unsocial I think. Anyway, phase 5 is phase 5 and these villages will someday merge. Where is connection to Badian Road? |

Yes, you are right. Just saw the map and didn't like it a bit. A small park and mosque and all plots close to villages and grave yard. Don't think it adds beauty to that piece of land. |

Dear FAH and dha, Don't be disheart. It's still the best possible map and location, Where there are some negative things, there are also lot of positive features.
only few plots lies near ring road which was the main concern of every file holder that he shouldn't get a plot near to ring road. Secondly, if you see all one side is developed Askari 11 which is another plus point.
And if you see closely there are Hugh chances that DHA is having a plan to joint 150 feet main phase 5 road with service line where phase v ext. start (have a close look). |

It is not correct that Phase 5 extension (now M block) is very next to Askari 11. Actually there is village Natha Singhwala between Askari 11 and M block.
In fact Phase 5 extension or M block is surround by village Natha Singhwala, village Kiriyanwala and village Leel on all three sides. The fourth side is Ring Road which is source of polution and noise. There are also many pockets still to be bought by DHA. Also as mentioned above there is no 150 feet connection. In fact no any kind of connection with DHA 5. It is more connected with DHA 9. DHA 9 is right next to DHA 5 M block (5 extension). I think DHA 9 and DHA Town in DHA 9 will have better town planning and facilities due to big chunk of available land. |
