Brothers apologies topic not being related to real estate but I noticed few friends from Saudi arabia and have a query
How difficult it is to sponsor mother on visa in KSA, my mother age is under 60 and currently in Dubai but will be moving to KSA under new Job and wish to keep my mother with me?

Dear Irfan,
It largely depends on your occupation on residence permit. For example, a Doctor will be allowed to have his/her mother on visa in KSA. Otherwise it will be close to impossible. |

Dear Irfan,
all the technical visa holders and professionals like doctors , engineers,accountants, can bring their parents on visit visa. initially the visit visa is granted for one month but you can extend it every month till 6 or seven months easily. only in hajj days they dont extend the visit visa.
in some technical trades they only allow mother to come on visit visa but not father. but that is also possible if the company has good reference inside the ministry of interior.

My borother who is moving to KSA title will be "Technician" though he is engineering. I was wondering that Residence Visa similar to Dubai, but it appears it may be difficult?
My mother is Widow, can they accept on these grounds? If anyone have gone through the process of Residence visa for parents and can share.

Technician is not allowed to keep his parents with him but you might have seen the news today in Yahoo maktab that there are some reforms expected in Saudi Expt Laws in next few months which will allow anyone to keep his 'family' with him. God knows....... |
