Good question but I am wondering some people may start asking if winds coming from the West are halal or haram. One family in England threw away their sofa set as they were not sure whether the leather came from a slaughtered baffalo or not. Why to ride a horse when its meat is haram...

Now a days it has become very difficult to distinguish between halal and haram. plz tell me if i buy plot in DHA 6 will I be given plot or file because during couple of months I am planning to visit LRE or any other reliable dealer.

As far as DHA is concerned, selling/buying of files is halal as each file is backed by 4 kanal land.

@ DXB Sahib

For your information , meat of horse is halal. You can confirm it from Ulma.

Do Piaza bhai, you should ask this question from a learned Islamic scholar. I am saying this because i think CMY and Co. have their expertise in Property buying and selling not in Islamic matters but i may be wrong and CMY may have gotten his Aalim degree from a madrissa.... you never know ;)...... anyways that was just on a light side....

as for as i know there is no harm in buying such plots but there is difference of opinion among scholars in selling a plot without knowing the location of it.

Dear Worried Man,

Please read the Hadiths given below and decide yourself (open the books of Hadiths Bukhaari and Muslim, look these Hadiths yourself in these books before giving any remarks):

It was narrated from Jaabir ibn ‘Abd-Allaah (may Allaah be pleased with him) that he said: On the day of Khaybar, the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) forbade eating the flesh of domestic donkeys, but he granted a concession with regard to horses. Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 3982; Muslim, 1941.

It was narrated that Asma’ bint Abi Bakr (may Allaah be pleased with her) said: At the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) we slaughtered a horse and ate it. Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 5191; Muslim, 1942.

It was narrated that Jaabir (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: We traveled with the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and we used to eat the flesh of horses and drink their milk. Narrated by al-Daaraqutni and al-Bayhaqi. Al-Nawawi said: with a saheeh isnaad.

Let us stop doing what we know for sure is haraam: to tell lies, to weigh less; and to honestly do our job (whatever it is), to not forcefully deny any body his right, not steal any thing which is not our (including government's or our company's) and to not indulge in wasteful expenses.

If we just do that every thing else will fall in its proper place. You will not have to worry about files, horses or donkeys.

@ Khan

Your last post above (short and precise), is by far the best post on LRE forum's 7+ years history. It points to, and describes the Siraat-al-Mustaqeem (straight and clear) in just a few lines, that, if one has the will and guts to follow. That is Asl: The Real Thing, but we have become too accustomed to the Faroa'at: the worthless complications. You deserve a salute for this great (& apprarently simple) post
