A few days back one of the forum mates Mr. Amman updated regarding phase 8 development work. Mr. Salman from LRE did,nt confirm that. Now any body has any latest news about the development work or it is just the patch work business.

Well the updates shared by Mr. Amman about development was correct. I had to visit the DHA office for some work and i asked them some questions regarding development of phase 8. They informed that patches work is not given to NLC. NLC is given the development work of phase 8. I was also informed that the formal announcement will be made soon, hopefully in first week of May.
To be more sure, i went to the phase 8 main blv. I saw that there was some machinery standing in commercial Broadway. So i parked near machinery and inquiring from the supervisor made clear that these machinery are doing the patches work and road development in commercial Broadway. So i thought that might be Mr. Salman was right but i remembered that Mr. Amman mentioned cabins of NLC and here i could see only one cabin(non AC).
So a further inquiry from the supervisor cleared that the cabins about which Mr. Amman was stating is present near W block of phase 8. So I moved towards the W block and saw that 5 or 6 AC cabins of NLC. I again parked my car and asked the personal sitting along the cabins and he informed me that they are here for phase 8 development and not for patches work.
So there are two different constructions companies present at site and both are assigned different work . One is here for main blv and commercial Broadway roads development and the other one is here for phase 8 development.

Well DHA confirmed that patch work is not given to NLC and cabins of NLC are for Phase 8 development. Although formal announcement is expected in 1st week of May. |

nice news from dha side after many time. phase 8 development will give birth to new side of dha will be known as true dha after 5 to 7 years which will include phase 5, 6 and 8 and upto some level phase 7. |
