I am a keen reader of this forum and find it very helpful due to its independent and open nature. I live in UK and want to invest some money in DHA lahore. My amount is around Rs. 40lacs.
I want to know is it better to buy a 10 marla plot in phase 8 on instalments or DHA town phase 9 where development is started as per forum info? I want to invest for 5 years and doesn't have any intentions to build it. 2ndly, if anybody knows that DHA town phase 9 is available on instalments as well? I don't want to invest in files.
I will appreciate any input.

Location of 10 marla plots in DHA 8 is very bad. Think about other options in DHA 8. |

in 40 lac u could buy a good location plot in phase 7 which gave u good return after 5 years dt dnt even think to invest in phase 9 becuz its very long ter investment price is already artificial |

10 marla plots in DHA 8 are located in "Y" block only and this area is separated from DHA8 other blocks and also has very deep dent in land. As Amir suggested you to invest in good location plot of DHA7 or DHA Town phase 9 is a good option also.
You can get possession of your plot in DHA 9 Town next year Insha Allah but development in DHA8 not yet started. |

If you can get in 40-45 lac a 1-kanal plot (including all charges) anyhwhere in DHA, it will be best opportunity in your situation. |

If u are thinking of long time investment till 5 years.Then it is better to purchase on ground plot in Bahria Town where living standard is far better than defense and after 5 years it ll be the best society of Lahore becoz its distance problem ll b also solved by Ring road. |

Kindly list here different available plot numbers with their price in different Sector/Block of DHA 7 available in price range/budget from Rs.40 to Rs.45 Lac which will also help Oversease495, myself & other reader to decide investing in this phase through LRE?
Please only mention the price which you can gaurantee us competitive to market rate.
Would you also please tell when will be posession given for those plots in above price range?
Do you think Phase 7 will take longer to give possession than phase 8?

Kindly let me know why people are so against about phase 9, i'm thinking of buying file for 1 kanal is it the best time to buy or shall i wait. What are the ground realities for development because i'm thinking of moving back to Pakisstan after 6 years , is any idea in 6 years time is phase 9 would be ready for construction ? Please give me some advise as i'm bit confuse.
