Difference between word Sale & Sell (Wrongly Used on LRE),

Hi all,

I've noticed on LRE website, people always use word 'SALE' wrongly (more than 80%).

Please see some explaination or difference between two:

Sale = noun (Things)
Sell = verb (Action Word)

Sale is a noun (thing). We are having a SALE.
Sell is a verb (action word). I think we are going to have to sell that old car.

Sale also means to market an item for the price of many to purchase an item through retail.

Sell- means to improvise a customer to buy the product on the shelf.
