Any friend who has made the move from UK to Pak successfully recently wishes to share experience? Where settled in Lahore? School for children? How much money per month required? Is renting out a house a feasible mean of getting some money? Thanks

Moved few months back from Europe.
Took a house on rent in Askari-10 about 35k per month
Houses in Askari 11 may be 2-5k cheaper
It takes about one month or more to get security clearence.
Other options for house renting would be eden homes close to the airport or renting house in dha 10 marla (40k) or 1 kanal (50-80k).
however, security is of prime importance and Askari is a good deal
Children started beaconhouse school costing 16k per child
other school options are lahore grammer ~12k, learning alliance ~16k
Average cost of living is around 150k per month for 4-5 people and one car. |

I am in the same boat as Crick.
I heard the fees at beaconhouse school is Rs. 8000?
Also what do you mean by one month or more to get security clearance?
