In start alignment of Margalla avenue is between C-12 & D-12.
On completion Margalla Ave will provide alternate access for
Zone-II in general and B-17 in particular.
Margalla Ave is also useful for E-16/E-17.
Sectors E-11, D-12 ,F-11 will more easily accessible from E-16/ E-17.
A shelved project Khayaban-e Iqbal Extension is more beneficial for
E-16/ E-17.
Khayaban-e Iqbal's alignment is between E and F sectors i.e
E-5 & F-5 ,E-6 & F-6, E-7 & F-7, E-8 & F-8 , E-9 & F-9 ,
E-10 & F-10,E-11 & F-11, E-12 & F-12, E-13 & F-13, E-14 & F-14 if this project executed in future Road will finish on GT road in front of E-16.

I believe Margala Avenue should be laid straight from E-16/F-16 to stright E-5/ F-5 having link for each sector as currently we have from Khayaban e Iqbal from F-11 to F-5.
Would you please clarify If Margala Avenue finishing at D-12 how it will be connected to Khayaban e Iqbal and at what point ?
Don't you think Margala Avenue and Khayaban e Iqbal will be two separate road one day starting from E-5/F-5 and up to GT road ?

Margalla Ave and Khayaban-e Iqbal are two separate roads.
Margalla Ave will connect with Khayaban-Iqbal via Service Road East E-11 & 11th avenue (project is inaugurated by PM).
11 th avenue Ist phase to be started From Kashmir Highway between right of way of G-10 & G-11, F-10 & F-11 , E-10 & E-11 |
