As a follow up of the story of DHA Valley scam published in local media and reportedly SC calling for record of JV between DHA & BT has spread wide spread concern amongst members of the project. The Daily Dawn has published a pathetic story on 11 June portraying the plight of poor and needy investers. A Colonel has requested the COAS for inquiry into the scam and arranging return of the money of thousands of civilian and military men who are affected by non-completion of the scheme by promised date by DHA and its JV Partner. The paper that carried the initial report should have investigated the scam further and apprised its readers on the factual position. Unfolding of the recent happenings and RM comments that onus of any closure of BT Project would rest with SC have caused widespread panic? Members feel that it was in fact their money that was changing hands for ulterior motives. Surprisingly DHA Isld is silent on it and seems evading its responsibility so is its joint venture partner the BT? People had invested in the Project because of good name of DHA but DHA has said nothing on the future of DHA Valley. The newspaper that carried the initial story must now follow it up as its professional and moral duty and publish a full feature on the Scheme and the Scam.
DHA must now make public its official position and come out clearly with the revised schedule of the entire development in the Valley and possession of plots Sector wise. DHA must also compensate all its members of DHA Valley and DHA COMMERCIAL AVENUE by giving out a reasonable monthly return till completion of the project.The story of DHA Valley scam published in local media and carried by this blog was pretty disturbing. No follow up on that is visible anywhere. The paper should have carried out some investigative research and apprise its readers on the factual position. Surprisingly even DHA Isld is silent on it and so is its joint venture partner? i would suggest that that the newspaper that carried the story must now follow it up as its professional and moral duty and publish a full feature on the Scheme and the Scam. Can some body meanwhile comment on the story and update on the situation on ground?
