" EXPERTS ADVICE REQUIRED "
I apologize for not posting a real estate related inquiry but for most of Pakistanis this is a real issue.
During past 7 – 8 years the climate of our country has changed rapidly and we are suffering from shortage of water in each part of our country. Particularly the Pothohar Region of Punjab and Desert areas of Sind are badly affected. The level of underground water is very low and in summer all the wells and bores become dry. The people have to bring the water either from 3-4 km. away wells of depression areas or purchase water tanker that is very costly and everybody cannot afford it. Even if someone wants to dig a well or bore, he is not sure whether or not he will be blessed with water. I have witnessed many cases that after spending a huge amount, a person was failed to get enough water in his house.
In Pothohar Region there are many dowsing experts who check the level of underground water with sticks and mark the place for boring or digging a well but this method has 50- 50 chances. Sometimes they succeed and sometimes they fail. NOT SURE:
I want to ask from honorable members of this forum that:
Is there any authentic way to check the level and quantity of underground water before digging or is there any electronic / digital device available for this purpose ?

If u r askin' about a HANDY instrument, i can suggest u a gr8 thing. Take a THIN branch of a tree. It must b in Y shape. Hold it from the upper part (that is, from double-ended part)with both of your hands loosely and walk on the ground. Where ever there is water under the ground, it will start ROTATING. |
