If a tanent is vacating 10m Sd House after 2 years, who is supposed to pay for repainting and minor repair of the house to be ready for new tanent

Dear Saeed,

such issues must be addressed in the inital agreement. If nothing mentioned before, the house owner should take care of his house. The tenant is already paying rent.

no issue but it is almost costing me 3 months renta. I have no issue as no prior agreement was made however wanted to take precaution for new tanent if it is optional

Here in Dubai, The owner takes a deposit while renting the Flat or house and also the owner lets the tenant fill a form of all things in good conditions or mention if any thing is damaged, When vacating the painting and if any repair more than the things mentioned in the Handover form, will be repaired and painted by the security deposit.

and remaining deposit will be given to the tenant.

Dear Saeed ,

Aside from what ever agreement you have if you consult major relegious scholars you'll get to know that HOUSE RENT is only justifiable when their is some degardation/damage is done due to use of property , had there been no such issue the RENT WOULD COME UNDER INTEREST. So , i personally would not do an agreement in which all damage repair would have to be paid by the tenant once he leaves.This is my personal opinion not a suggestion

Thanks to all for your feed back. I have been told that if tanent compeltes one year then all re-paint or minor repairs are on owner. I live in DXB and it is different here therefore I asked for your opinion. seems it is different in Pakistan
