Being forced to pay bribe to get your just work done is different from using bribe with criminal intentions to abuse and manipulate the system. MR used bribes to occupy land unlawfully, to manipulate CDA and DHA, to get murderer out of jail and to con common people to name a few. It would be wrong to compare him with common people of Pakistan who are forced to give bribes due to corrupt culture.

It is also wrong to make sweeping statements like 99% of pakistani people are corrupt without any evidence.

We must be objective in our observations. No matter what societies MR has developed, he is not above the law and must be held accountable for his actions. Supremacy of the law and order is one of the most important thing for the progress of any nation and we must not allow anyone to compromise that.

Malik Sahib, By closing eye things will not get correct. The corruption in Pakistan is entering in to 3rd generation now and if some one wanted to revert. it will take at least 1.5 generation time. But unfortunately we have not set to get it reverse yet.

@Jk Sahib, according to me Mr Malik is right, giving bribe to police for not carrying a bike licence is different ( although it's wrong) but giving a bribe to police for let you free after murder or robbery is different.
The people like me and you are still wondering how a light can come out from the bulb, and we need generations to make that bulb.

Mr jk what do you mean by 'By closing eyes things will not get correct'? In what context are you making this statement?

you would give bribe to police for not carrying license? seriously ?

you are driving without license hence threatening lives of every one on road.... bribe is not justifiable under any circumstances.....

lets not find workarounds

@ 'license', I agree with you.

@ Omer, bribe/crime can't be justified whether minor or major. The whole point was about intent of your action.
