Hi:
I need some guidance as I have small savings and I have been advised by one of my cousin to buy 1K a plot in DHA phase 2 Extn. I want to ask is this a safe long term investment and what is the future of phase 2 extn when DHA Valley(which is huge area) is still incomplete.
Also One very basic query since i am knew to this forum. What is the difference between plot, file and allocation file? how all these three differ and how they effect my decision of property purchase?
P.s i am looking to invest for long term like 10 years but would like if a need arises i can sell it without loss.

This is a very good long term investment prices are very low now. Please do not mix DHAI Phase II ext with DHAI Valley. DHAI Valley has Malik Riaz's involment. While DHAI II EXT. is solely owned by DHAI and to be devlopped by Habib Rafiq. The DHAI II Ext land is acquired already by DHAI therefore it is very secure |

the pity thing about DHAI extension is this does not have any boundary or area defined. you never know where your plot will be starched miles away from the area see these days. Therefore I will not recommend it for investment and for me it will remain unresolved for many years. |

DHAI phase 1 & 2 ext development remain halted mysteriously since last almost 10 years. It has given apparent benefit to MR launched phases of BT in the vicinity. Whether it was with some internal deal amongst them or a case of mere inefficiency of DHAI; only time will reveal true story. |

Adeel Bhai you are right, DHAI and CDA management is MR pocket. Only (Real Estate DON) Bahria town will develop and grow, other plot holder must wait. |
