ISLAMABAD, June 27: The Punjab government has taken its opposition to the federal government up another notch by blocking a much hyped CDA project – the Margalla Avenue.

Off late wr saw artifical increase in b 17 price over last 6 months due to so called marghalla road to benefit a few. I think right time to dispose plot before it reverts to square 1

This project is very much needed but unfortunately Punjab government is trying to over perform and Shahbaz Shrif is opposing every thing central government trying to do. I believe this project will keep going and we will see Margala Avenue is placed.

Project is good but intentions are bad as to benefit zardari land in c13 sector. We strongly oppose

this country is not of Zardari and neither of Nawaz Shrif, if Zardari own land we should snatch it back if he has acquire it illegally ( he must have ) But let the development may go on. It does not mean if any of them is getting advantage we should oppose it after all this Avenue is advantage for Islamabad.

Roads mean prosperity for all. Work on this project has already been started. No matter whose land is on its way, it will offer multiple opportunities to genuine buyers of land/house as well as investors. PG concern has no value whatsoever.

Constructing of margalla avenue is a old project which is very important for the west part of CDA sectors and president Zardari have no concerned with this project and suppose if he owns some land in C-13 sector then what! why some people are so bias against President Zardari.

O you saday people, margalla avenue is not for zardari neither for people of islamabad; this project was basically for new GHQ (D-11, D-10, E-10), Air HQ (E-9), and Naval HQ(E-8). Since new GHQ is delayed for some time, therefore this project is also delayed. Once new airport is ready, work on this project as well has new GHQ will also begun. So please do not fight with each-other.
