I'll share my case of what happened with me in Johar town a few years back. I had bought a plot in Jauhar Town in 1980s and I decided to sell it in 2005 to use the money after retirement. I made the deal with the seller and when we went to LDA office for transfer, I was told that I was no long the owner of the plot. It was some plot that LDA had give to original land-owner when they got the land and that transfer had gone into litigation and LDA had lost the case 5 years ago. They neither bothered to tell me nor did they adjust me anywhere. The deal I had made for 26 lakh was cancelled and I sold my papers over to someone for 3 lakh who was willing to fight the cases in court. Sharing the story so that anyone reading it may benefit from knowing the risk of investing with LDA.

This shows how LDA works. We should unite and use all of our resources to get it resolved. I remember some one tried it before and like to learn from their experience. Media assistance is vital. Also we should write continuously to CM and CJ |
