actually am an expat and have chosen a very good plot in ex commoners and was about to finalize the deal when this scandal has come up.

I personally am still inclined to buy there but need some concrete assurance if it will be a right move.

forum members give brief answers and dealers say its the best time to buy there. so trying to seek some help from experts..

I have already arranged around 4mn and contemplating now what to do.. :/

thanks

On ground plots of Commoners Town (NOT Commoners Ext) are not a bad deal. It is adjacent to Ph 2 like one of its block and you may safely go ahead with it, if you are about to make a deal. The other option of actual Ph 2 should cost you around 2 + 4 = 6 Mil.

Dear all, i repeat, please note that no development was in progress at the site of Daducha dam. It was already declared as dam site by DHA from 2005 to 2008. sometime later-on, DHA decided not to work on dam. the DAM area falls in ph-2 extn and not in DHA valley or DHA homes, or ex commoners town. presently no work is in progress in ph-2 extn. However work on DHA valley and DHA homes is already in progress and it will not be affected.
also note that DHA commoners town is not part of ph-2 extn (it was part of extn till 2010; but now it is part of ph-2 proper) it is almost developed, little work is pending. if u buy developed plot in commoners town area it is OK, few houses are already under construction.

NB: commoners town was on both sides of highway, earlier the one on adjacent to ph-2 was merged with ph-2 proper, and the one on other side of highway was made part of ph-2 extn. Since no development work was started for ph-2 extn, and only the commoners town area of extn was developed, therefore, it is now again renamed as part of proper ph-2 in 2011.

Dear SAhmed

In case the DHA VALLEY doesnt fall under the land alloted for DAM then how come the development work has been ordered to be stopped?
1)In case the land was alloted for the DAM then how come the DHA and BT even started the schemes there.
2)As per the report the DAM issue was since 2001 or so then how come around 150,000/- people bought and now at the time of possession (though DHA Valley is not in position to be given for possession from far) the departments are creating this issue?
3)In case out of the whole 10-15 sectors of DHA VALLEY even 50% comes under the issue or is declared to be planned on DAM'S land what will happen with the affected people?

Will appreciate input by any one but asking SAhmed as he's claming (I WISH) that the DHA VALLEY wont be affected by this DAM issue. I wonder why Punjab GOVT and small dams organization is not ready to move just 4KM away as already requested by DHAI as many people may get affected (even if it was a mistake by DHAI or BT)

Hi guys
if we look at the map and allotted sectors , the site earmarked for this Daducha dam is in the north east of project, at the top of DHA 2 ext, The concluded point that DHA valley is not MUCH affected is very solid.
as the sectors like sunflower, oleander, lily are far away from the dam site, any way lets see, however the progress is very slow, it will take time ,
2nd thing its not like this taht ppl are ruined , and the hard earned money of poor pakistanies are looted by DHA . offcourse delay is there and DHA is responcible for it, if the site is declared is disputed , then DHAI has to refund the deposited money or launch another suitable scheme for the members. one last thing what is the standing of HONORABLE CJ. ?????????? lol , not only the MR, BT, DHAI are C********* but this SC and CJ as well,
