I Dont think there is are many issues as thought. These plots are usually safe, the only issue people think that the entrance of these houses is in direct vision of may offices and plazas and if some one want to keep an eye who is coming and going the house that can be watched easily. But that can also be done by watch man of next or opposite house as well, once I was looking for house in phase 4 which is built for last 15 years, believe me every 3rd house was empty owners were overseas and only watchman was living, mostly these were young men from villages and getting 7000 to 8000 salary, who knows what they are doing in houses.
Other issues told about houses facing commercial is traffic and rush but I think all commercials are not like DHA phase 3 Y Block and Main Commercial phase 1 if you see Phase 2,4 and 5 commercials these are very peaceful traffic wise.
Commercials are very safe and very easy to live due near by facilities, initially these areas are populated by property dealers but later all facilities come here.
The Only issue which I think is valid is that if you want goto sell you get less price just due to belief of market,
My advice is go ahead as these areas are prime areas facilities wise.
