Salam brothers,
I have a 1kanal plot in Lahore DHA Phase 6 block D and inshAllah looking to start construction in next couple of months inshAllah.
As I currently don't reside in Pak I am building this house for my parents so I need some sincere advice from the brothers leaving comments on this site. My questions are
1) how much is the construction cost for building a double storey house in DHA?
2) Is phase 6 a good and profitable phase to build the house? Someone suggested that I shud sell this plot and buy in phase 5
3) after the comstruction is completed when it will be possible to rent out the upper portion so that my parents can live on the ground floor n they can receive the rent from upper portion
4) is it safe to rent out the house? I have heard many horror stories where the renter won't leave the place. In such situations does DHA provide some help?
5) how much is the rent I should expect to receive
6) are there any state agencies that provide full service in terms of taking care of the property, collecting rent and finding new tanents etc.

1) roughly 1800sqft
2) PH6 is best. somebody advising you to sell and buy in Ph5 not your friend, must be an agent
3) approximate rent will be 25-30k
4) no threat to property ownership |

Are you sure about 1K house rent in DHA-6? 25000 to 30000 per month is for 5 marla house in other phases of DHA. |

phase 6 is the most modern phase of defence and one have not to wait more than 2 to 3 years when u will see that phase 6 willl be most expensive phase of defence with most modern schools uni golf course CCA. nowadays upper portion of 1 kanal in phase 6 will be easily given on 25000 to 30000. yes in dha its safe to rent a house. |
