Assalam-o-alaikum,
Does any one has any update on the progress of development of phase 7 (old ballotted plots). When is expected to be completed for sector x,y and z. when is the proposed time for handing over the possession?
Any kind feedback will be highly appreciated.

In may last visit one month back I saw lot of development in X and Y area, The delay is only due to small Pockets,
In Q,R, S, T, U , blocks DHA can declare possession even now, But i think they want to Clear as much area as possible before possession is Given, It is Good For investors and future home builders as DHA 6 Is in Full Construction phase, and you can see the rates has increased about 20 lac in 2 years, as DHA 7 is connected directly to DHA 6 so it will be also populated soon. same will be true for price gain

Mr. Jameel is correct but I've read few weeks/months ago on LRE website by LRE staff that possession for DHA 7 won't be given before 2014 so more than 2 years are expected although work is being done at the moment.

And the work will be completed on upper part of X & Y area first and then lower part will be done may be 3 more years in total.

Do you guys think, after three years even if average located plots in these blocks will have 50% increase in price though Rupees will be de-valued at more than 30% at that stage of posession so you will get only 20% or lower profit after 3 years of this 40 Lac plus investment in Phase 7?

The development work of Newly Balloted plot is will be started soon along old balloted plots. AS Mr.Jameel is right in saying that Q, R, S, T and U blocks is almost ready for possession but somewhere in 2013 and new extension possession by the end of 2014.
