I had opposed Bahria Enclave on this site but only during the first few day of their application collection process. That was because they had fraudulently advertised its location to be right in front of Park Enclave. They even published a misleading map. I had opposed the fraud not the project.
Within a few days the fraud was exposed and the public knew its correct location. Later they got some partial approval from CDA also. After that my position is neutral on that project. It has its pros and cons. The general area is much superior to Rawat. It will be a wonderful place once it is well populated. I don't know if that will take 10 years or 20 years. For now it is an Island. Only you can decide if it suits you to get in there at this time. I don't know if the price has increased. I think it is still 60 lakhs per kanal. If you know the latest price please post it. I have not personally visited the site so please do further research.
Bahria has the same construction standards as in western countries. I just wish they would have the same ethical standards as well. As for CDA they have disappointed me terribly. Their money problems had nothing to do with Park Enclave. They were collecting good money from Park Enclave (1.2 crore per kanal). All they had to do was to collect the money and give to a good developer to develop it. They could no do something this simple. Shame on them.
