Dear Jameel sb. / Habib sb. and other respectable brothers
My Son is taking admission in first year at Punjab Collage, my dreem/wish is to become Engineer but his marks in Matric is not good, he is average in study (he cannot take the required marks in FSC). Please help to advise me if he takes admission in FSC (pre-engineering)and after FSC, can he take admission any Eng. University by self financing? I will be gratful for your kind valuable advise in this regard.

He should work Hard average students take Good Marks in Punjab College, There is no self Finance in Univ of engineering and Technology, But If You try rive College Fast [Cost about 1 lac per Year] COMSAT [cost about 1.23 Lac Per Year of Lumps [cost about 4 Lac Per year] he can get admission in Good Eng Technology. All these are private Colleges till date Fast and COMSAT are recognized and LUMPS still not.

@ Asif I am sorry if u are offended , i try my best to help others, have no time to edit or look for typing mistakes the name of Institute is LUMS and I am sure that even being too expensive this is not recognized by eng Council correct me if I am wrong. |

They offer 8 Courses out of these at least in 5 should select FSC Eng not FA,
in Other 3 Humanities IRBCM and Mathematics one should have Math and economics,
Nut shell is that mostly one Should have FSC in Pre Eng not FA so best is FSC with Math physics and Chemistry |

Mrs fareed My sincere advise is if your child is an average student then i think you should not force him to do Fsc. Ask your child first whether he is interested in Fsc or engineering or not? other wise it will not good for him to do Fsc. If he would get admission in fsc that you want but does not get good marks or grade then it will just wastage of time and money as well. As mr Jameel mentioned you three private institutions for engineering. No doubt among all these three Lums is best but getting admission in Lums quite hard. After that fast university comes. It is also good but to admission in it is also little hard. As far as concern of comsats to get admission in it is not difficult. mostly the students with less marks can easily get admission in comsats. Superior university also offers engineering education. one an average student can also get admission there. But I will again suggest you if your child is capable to get good marks in fsc or engineering then fine other wise do not force him. Best of luck for you and for ur child |

I did my Engg from UET lahore- 96 Batch
At that time there were few seats allocated for self finance scheme, Please re-check, it may help some one |
