Please someone advise what will be the cost to construct the boundary wall for two acre plot. What should be the height of the wall (6' or 8' high)?
Which will be the cheaper option, brick wall or pre-cast concreate slabs.
Whether brick wall is more durable or pre-cast concreate slabs.
Many thanks for your advise. jk replied on Monday, September 10, 2012 06:51 AM
certainly Bricks are cheaper make 2 course of 18 inches wide brick foundation and then 13 inches wide courses to come up 1.5 higher then ground level, then Make 9 x 9 inch Brick work columns @ 3meter c/c and 4.5 inch Perda wall in between. Height depends how secure the area is where you are going to construct. 6 ft is ideal but 8 is more secure. Do in side out side brick pointing. ( NO plaster no paint ) just give one coat of clear varnish to consolidate and make brick impervious. Provide double column as Joint in wall every 25 to 30 meter. |
