Is it worth to buy Plot in Block-S of Phase-8 at this time.No development work in S block.Only attraction is that,It has direct approach from Main Boulevard and opposite to LSE.I have plan to build home in next 2 to 3 years ( If Almighty wish).Thanks

S Block is the only block in DHA Phase 8 where there are no pits. So land is stable and you will not face problem of reinforcing the foundations. Secondly there is military farms in the neighbourhood and it will only take a year or two that the military will convert these farms into some sort of housing scheme/flats for army officers (to be given on subsidsed rates as they work very hard for the nation). The point is that it will be very good surrounding. Given you situation, it is unlikely that the possession is given in the next two years. I think it will take three to four years. For investment with this period in mind is good in S block (at least what I think).

i am really astonished after reading ur comments regarding the Army officers, what is army ? army is composed of those brave, intellectual and above average segment of this pakistani society. army is not an alien from mars or jupiter , the people working in army came from different segments of this very pakistani society, i am sure that if some army officer offer his name for matrimonial purpose with ur sister/daughter, u will start jumping in the air with joyness, so this is all about the filthy approach of common pakistani that if they cannot avail or cannot be part of a good system , they will start to curse it, army is really doing the work so dnt just taunt,

Please don't make this web-site like a fish-market. To be in the Islamic-army was a edge but to be in a Plot-ic army? what type of special services the army-peoples do that the other Pakistanis are not doing except serving the USA and protecting their interests?

Army service is really tough and they deserve such allotments/favor, It has been happening in for last many thosands years, Even in prophet time.
On the other hand farm land belongs to Govt of Punjab and is on lease to army , 2 ys back DHA tried to negotiate with GOP but failed.

Its not the hard work that pays you extortionately. Its the risk you take that rewards you. Army people are meant to risk their life and hence they are rewarded in some form. The same holds good in business as well. More is the risk more is the profit. Are you willing to put your few millions at risk for better reward, let alone your life.

I just stated the fact and intention was not to hurt the feelings of any one. It is good information from An information that the land belongs to Government of Punjab as I was not aware of it. I often thought why on earth DHA is not converting this place into some sort of housing scheme because of its good location. Now I understand the reason behind it. I am very much interested to hear analysis of experts on S block as question put forward is good question.

DHA Lahore owns S block Land. You can See DHA sing board of S block on Main Boulevard.The development will be started soon.As per its policy issue files only when it acquire land against it and especially in DHA Phase 8 DHA very cautious and showed all pockets in map contrary to DHA Phase 7 initial map.The land above S block belongs to Punjab Govt and military has dairy farm there
