1- Do DHA allottees need to entrust th construction projects of their houses to a designated contractor?
2- Are DHA allottees required to adhere to the same designed for the construction of their houses as allowed by DHA authorities?
3- Does DHA allow to install solar plants in houses at DHA societies for power generation and water heating purposes in view of load shedding?

I guess you misunderstood DHA is not that strict, there are some by laws and other than that there are no many bindings people are living freely.
1. There are certain approved architects, you can see the List on DHA web but there is no strict fixed maps for that.
2. No here is no Control on design but map need to be approved by DHA and later after Completion one need get Completion certificate to ensure that same map was respected. There are certain by laws mainly to leave mandatory clear area on front and side and back.
3.I am not sure but I guess there should be no issue.

@Jameel sb. Kindly please tell me about mandatory clear area. Can we leave more clear area than specified? If I am building a house on 8 Marla, can I leave 2 marla for lawn or have to follow the DHA exactly for the length and width of the lawn? |
