Good news for Bahria town residents, LTC (Lahore transport company) has started the bus service from Safari villas round about to thokar niaz beg daily from 6am to 10:30 pm, the service was inaugurated yesterday with the latest CNG, AC buses of PAKOR.

Thank you very much for sharing the information. It is really an important facility for the residents of Bahria Town Lahore. The bus will leave for (Thokar to Bahria and vice versa) after every half an hour.
Though we already have conventional buses which are operating on same route but this new service is really impressive. It will charge Rs.25/= for one trip. |

That's cool! This will definately attract the daily commutors who were previously reluctant to settle in BT even the prices were well in their reach. This may appreciate the prices bit more in BT. |

Do people living in these societies really use these bus service as everyone has their own cars and one who own a car do not usually use buses or vans? One has to take poor transport service from Thokar to go to other area of Lahore. Sorry it's just a question as I am not in Pakistan but do appreciate the start of this good service. |

JJJ, bro the commuters of this service does not include only the residents of these societies, a lot of other people including the labor, workers in different offices, servants etc were facing problems to travel, this service would definitely help those people if not the residents. |

All the residents have cars, but not for every member of family.so it is a good facility(but costly for labor & poor person.) |

It is not necessary for settlers only to use the bus, everyone has relatives who may not have their own conveyance can reach easily to every corner of BT |

how many stops/terminals will this bus have between this route? the govt must allocate separate space at bus stops as the road along canal after thokar is two lane. |
