It is not advised to carry this amount by hand and I don't know why you wanted to do so. You may get through with out any notice but if get caught will be in trouble.

Use banking Chanel

Sincere advice,
Never carry cash when traveling.
Send money on your name to Pakistan through a proper channel and then receive yourself when you reach there.
You may lose couple of hundered instead of all But it will be safe and sound, Mental satisfation.

The maximum amount you can carry without airport clearance is 60,000 Saudi Riyals.Otherwise there is special counter on Airport for declaration and they will issue a Report mentioning the amount with their stamp. This should be done if you have more than 60,000 and this will help you in Pakistan for exchange even.On airport there is notification describing the amount and process.

Hi
According to my knowledge you can took hot cash maximum to 10000usd per person now you can convert this amount into saudi riyal or pkr to understand the best value. But i will fairly suggest you to use bank wire transfer or you can contact with your air travel company to get best accorate information.

Or you can convert some cash into gold shape and when you will b in pakistan can convert it back to hot cash. One 10 tola biscit they easily allow you to carry.

But again would b best if you ask the same question by calling your airline as well.

Dear Brother

According to my knowledge, the limit at Saudi side is SR.60,000 ( including cash and jewelry ) but my sincere advice is to use proper banking channel. It will be legal and more secure in both countries.

Thanks,

Agree with all. Never carry cash especially when you going to Pakistan. Anywhere else is fine.
