Just got back from D-12. At least 20 additional new houses construction started since August when I last visited.

No street lights yet but few families are now living there. Saw few gas pipe lines being laid as well.

View of the hills hasn't gone any better and is still breathtaking and awesome :)

My view- will see construction picking up in the next 6-12 months. D-12 will be livable same time next year; will match F-11 in 2015 and F-8/F-7 in 2018.

Prices are still low comparing to the potential and location.

Thanks,

I also visited G-13. Again, approx 50 odd houses have started construction since my last visit in August. Roads are still not repaired but it makes sense keeping in view heavy construction that is going on.

Saw a few trucks and heavy machinery parked for G-14/3 development.

Thing to notice was the mushroom growth of illegals shops towards G-12 right beside G-13/3 and G-13/4. I guess G-13/2 prices will rise substantially due to this which has a nice green belt and then G-14/3 will neighbor the service road west.

@Br. Bilal: Thanks for the update. Do you know how these people, currently living in D-12, have managed to hookup their Seweage pipes? Among major utilities, this is a "show stopper" for most residents. While one can live without gas, using propone tanks, Seweage hookups is a must-have? My understanding is that CDA/developer have not hooked-up the pipes with the main seweage line.

No; I'm not sure about how the sewage is connected and if there actually is any issue.

No doubt D-12 is a gud place with very much potential. Future is very bright no doubt once developed living standards will meet that of other posh sectors.

G-14 pending development was halted last week by locals. Another proud moment for CDA staff who will get more money from the locals to keep things as it is.

Dear Bilal,

Would you please share the quality of construction and the design of the houses and commercial building. Does it look the most advance or just average below as compare to location.
