Dear Brothers from UAE,
Based on your experience, where can I get better exchange rate to send money to Pakistan? I want to send 6 - 7 Hunderd Thousand AED.

split up your transactions into several. check with a couple of exchanges. HBL, UBL, Al Rostmani, UAE exchange all should be ok

The best option is to use either UBL or HBL. Its very safe and quick as well.

You can also speak to the branch manager to get better rates.

Amount is big, therefore, send in 7 or 8 parts, no need of to go to Banks to send money, because they dont give better rates, send through money exchange companies, check rates from all and send by parts to only your account in Pakistan,

Rashid check all exchanges which are near to you, who is giving better rate send through them. in adition to said by mr. nadeem check alfardan exchange as well.

Habib exchange, national exchange, alfardan exchange, alfalah exchange, uae exchange, and finally go to ubl or hbl.

Habib bank has a branch in dubai, UAE on [bank road, bur dubai]

They give excellent rate and money is transferred in 30 mins to your Pakistan habib bank account. They even give extra good rate once ye tell them about this amount.

UBL Tez Raftar thru their machine gets you the best exch rate. It is diff rate on counter and better rate if sent thru machine. my experience with money exchange that they offer very bad rate

Dear Rashid,
I will suggest you to open foreighn currency account(Dollars etc.) in Pakistan and send your money in this account through the bank in UAE where your money is deposited.
This will not affect the devaluation of your money in Pakistan Rupees.

Thanks for sharing your experiences. I really appreciate it very much. I would like to add following info to get your advice.

1. I have purchased an asset recently and I am supposed to make payment to a bank.
2. Payment need to be made in PKR.

UBL tez Raftar, best rates go on working day[in Pak] tell manager they will give you best rates. He will call his head office to get you best rstes.
