Dear All,

I want to know the difference between A Class, B Class and C Class construction. How can we differentiate these three classes of construction?

Is it depends on finishing and fittings only or it’s depends on ratio of cement / sand and quantity of steel too.

Please comment, it will be helpful for other users as well.

I think diffrence was between Quality not Quantity of Steel/ Sand/ Cement when constructing. Expert may advice in a better way

in my opinion a class is the most fancy and in fashion latest stylish interiors and exterior,b class no so fashionable , c lass just livable guzara like . quality of grey structure may be the same in all the classess.

The quality of construction depends on the quality of materials used. Like bricks, steel sand crush etc. It also depends on the quality of labor who inturn will make good quality massala, the walls will be in gunya and floors will have proper level etc. Then finally it depends on the quality of water pipes, sewerage pipes, electrical wires and of course finally the wood wok, electrical fittings, bathroom fitting, floor tile and marbles etc. It is not like 1,2,3 it is a combination of all these thins

Similarly thousands of Items from Structre to Finsha nd Locks have various Qualities, when an experienced person have al look of all these things he give Judgement that it is A B or C Class, Most of self Built solid Houses are with B class strcture and C class finish.

@Iram Khan, Quality comes with quantity of Steel as well as ratio of sand/cement, use of quality Wood (Diyar) , Elect Cable, sanitary pipes, tiles, washroom etc etc

Thanks all for valuable comments. All are so helpful.

I have observed in this site the contractors are giving rates for A Class and B Class Construction. In some post owners at the time of selling claiming that the house construction is A – Class. So just trying to know that how can we differentiate the A, B or C Class as I’m also going to build my house and I wanna construct my house with A class construction by all means.

For Grey Structure:

1) Some people are using proper beam in walls and columns for durable structure of house. Some are using simple bricks with good ratio masala. Some are using simple brick are low quality masala for chunai. Now don’t know what will be in A Class or B Class.
2) I have written quantity of steel, because I have observed in some houses engineer used good quantity plus quality of steel for roof, and in some other cases they used bit less quantity of steel and less quality as well. I think there will be rule that how much minimum steel should be per sq foot or per sq meter.
3) Sewerage line pipes is another important factor, where lot of variety is in the market and don’t know if contractor is saying he will use A class then what comes in A class.

Mr Ny,

Thank for your detailed reply.

Could you please write something for finishing as well? Like what did you use for flooring (marble, tile), painting (ICI, Nippon, berger), doors (wood type), kitchen (cabinet types and material), bathrooms tiles and bath room fittings (brand name), electric cables (brand name please)

I believe you have used excellent material, but 24 ton for 7900 seems bit too much I think, have you used steel in both floor and lantar of basement. And please confirm if you have swimming pool in your house?

Finally please give me an idea of any approx cost per sq feet (including finishing).

Thanks so much Ny.

Regards,
Ali2

Ok for flooring I used ziyarat white in all rooms means white white.2.for chogat I used diyar n for doors I used miranty.3.bath and kitchen I used tiles.4.fittingi used porta I think it's best.5.cable and electric fitting I have no problem with that.6.for basement 24ton yes i tell you why you r talking quality.again it's my house to live so I made no compromise from my side.again to the point basment 9inch thick walls with double iron bar means inside n outside people make 4inch or the mex 6inch with single jal in my case you use double.you got my point .7.no pool I have small kids n I think it's very hard to maintain.this is what I did rest god knows.
