Salaam,
I have bought a 10 marla plot in Bahria Town with intention to house. However when I reached their office to gather the information I was informed that BT is charging 1,48000 Rs only to approve the Design , the cost of design is not included. Utilities charges of 80,000 is in addition to that. I want to get expert opinion from this forum that isnt BT charging too much for nothing and isnt it discouraging the construction activity of a middle class buyer.

It's expensive with Bahria, 1 kanal designs for Rs 250,000 and if you hire external architect then approval is 225,000 so pretty much yo have to se Bahria. Possession charges e.g. Water, gas etc connection for 1 kanal 150,000 |

Yes it's true (at least for Pindi), personal experience. Also all these rates are given on Bahria's website. |

So, that might be only applicable for Pindi since there is no such information on web for Lahore. Can anyone form Lahore share his personal experience please. |

BT is chaging for 10 marla;
Approval chages 148000
Design charges optional 20000
Utility connection charges 80000
TMA charges 20000
Total RS 268000 |

Is there any fee for possession?
Do we need to pay for possession seperatly after paying all the dues including additional charges?
Could some one shed light on this as well?
Just need to understad if all dues are clears so i need to pay only RS 280000 to B.T prior to start the construction activity? |
