Ready For Metro Bus Lahore Phase 2 Orange Line (Thokar Naiz Beg via Muhltan Road To Ring Road/GT Road Qaide Azam Interchange ). This was old original plan.



In the newly discussed plan They are thinking about possibility to start Metro Bus Lahore phase 2 from Bahria Town to Lahore Ring Road/HarbansPura Interchange all via canal bank road.

Keep it up. Make Lahore an example and then let us follow it in other parts of our Pakistan.

regardless of criticism this is best delivered project!!

there were people when Motorway was started with same critic eyes.... and not they are ashamed of ....

no favor for any political party but this project is very well done!!

1. Waste of our tax money; roads built, destroyed, rebuilt three times over. Who is accountable
2. nowhere in the world, a continuous fence is used in rapid bus service. Whose pockets are being filled?
3. 27 km and 31 Billion Rupees. Per km cost is more than 1 billion. Its huge
4. The bus cost on cash is 2.5 crores per bus or 2.5 billion for 100 buses. But the govt will pay 1.5 billion in rents on the buses per annum for next 10 years. (Rs. 360 per bus per kilometer). It is worse than the Rental Power project agreements
5. We could have built 10 universaties with 31 billion; could have given free education of thousands of students.

but still if you all feel that it was a good project. Your call. Give power to PML-N and the treasury will be empty in a matter of days.

Highly admire able achievement by PMLN Govt.
I think by past experience Shahbaz Sharif came to know...How one can get work done from corrupt bureaucracy....Our system is so corrupt that you cant change this in matter of 90 Days...It need some body who understand the system and can get work done from these Putwaries...LDA...TEPA...Highway Agency....Police...and many other corupt departments.

My eyes was wet to watch this inauguration ..I pray this project bring prosperity in my country and we maintain it no matter who's Next Govt comes?

Bro Salman,

We are not saying that Metro bus project in not corruption free. At least, with corruption in this project we got some thing for general public.

Today, it is disclosed in news that during last 27 years, all governments waived off loans of amounting to Rs 274 billion given to politicians, army generals and other strong corrupt people. Did you get anything against this huge money???

Again, I am common Pakistani and not giving favor to any politician. I love my country.

I agree that PML-N is lesser of the two evils when compared to PPP. But choosing lesser of the two evils consistently is still choosing evil.

Secondly, as they say GOOD is the enemy of GREAT.

Historically we didnt have a choice, so we always looked up to Army's intervention; but now at least we have a choice. There is no harm in giving Imran Khan at least one chance; Things will only get better.
