go to Bahria town, buy 5-marla plot &construct or buy 5-marla house.A safe place for your mother & house.

@Khan,LTC(air conditioned) BUSES are availble after every 20-minute from Bahria town to thokar (on canal road).all other facilities mentioned in sukh chain also available in Bahria town lahore.

Sure you are right but what about odd hour (late night) travel to and from Bahria. Freedom of 24/7 travel is definitely not there in Bahria. I am myself a fan of Bahria, but my comments were in the particular context.

I want to buy a plot and build house there,one of my friend ask me not to make house there because there is smell of GANDA NALA there esp in Barsat, and roads are too small in width.Needs friends advice on this forum to me for further action.Regards to all.

Yasir,
I know the area fairly well. Do you know Zafar Ali Road, connecting Mall and Gulberg Road is on A nallah. The property there is most expensive. People in Pakistan normally give comments or opinion without knowing facts.Why don't you visit that area in barsat and find for yourself what it is like living there. There was once smell coming in that area but that was not from Nallah but from a feed factory. I do not know what has happened to that factory as no such smell is felt in the last couple of years. Visit and find out and share your experience with others.
