Nobody knows.... But I think may b soon coz coas general kiyani is retiring in Nov. So before his retirement may be balloting takes place. But not sure. Phase 7 possession nd phase 9 balloting will likely to takes place together.....

Balloting is in a day weak month or year DHA-9 has to ballot one day. DHA will generate money from it so DHA it self will like to do it sooner then you and I like it.

One thing for sure is DHA-9 is hot buy and can bring the most return and cheapest to have a home in Defence Housing Authority in so low price.

Balloting is next year 2014. current hype is due to Eid & people investing to save zakat deduction from bank.

@ nauman - Balloting will be in 2013. I have got reply from DHA on my query stating the same.
You are right, current hype is due to arrival of people on Eid but these prices will not go down as balloting is very close,,, by Oct/Nov-2013

All are rumors. Nobody has exact info about balloting. We have been bearing such news (next week, next month, very soon, around the corned etc) for more than one year.

DHA has yet to give possession of Phase 7 and development of Phase 8 is undergoing. I think may be in coming few months they will do the ballot and ask for development charges plus put some of plots on installments, as property is on high price these days and they will try to get full benefit for it. Waiting for couple of years will not benefit them, as the property prices are volatile. This year is a good time for them to go ahead.

No rumors.... It's confirmed in writing by DHA that balloting is schedule in this year.
