Your passport and Iqama should have six months validity.
Furnished appartment will be better choice; book on line. Lamcy area is good for stay. Explor internet for visiting spots.

Mr. Rizvi, please make sure that all passports including children must be electronic not normal. Otherwise you will not be allowed visit visa to enter UAE. Pakistani engineers on arrival at UAE airport can get visit visa. I will suggest you to make your hotel booking through Booking.com on internet. It is more cheap than what you will find after arrival at Dubai. For sight seeing and hotel selection internet is the best guide. Metro is best suggested for visiting most of the tourist spots.

Yes you should be able to get visa

try to avoid bur dubai and deria area for hotel stay

you can try al barsha for mid range or marina etc or sheikh zayed road for bit high ends

spots lots of mall and parks, try mall of emirates indoor ski, dubai mall, dubai mall area also have fountain show, check it out
visit sharjah, and abu dhabi and RAK for mountains

I think you need to get visit visa prior to fly..it takes 2 days for visa issuance you may contact any travel agent to get it.You may find reasonable pricing hotels in Sharjah area starting from AED200 to 500 per night full suit all inclusive. Recommending Sharjah hotels as all resturants are nearby walking distances. You may book a trip for desert safari, wild wadi water park, farrari world in Abu Dhabi, Dubai Mall i think largest mall in the world, Abu Dhabi Grand Mosque, Jumeira Beach Walk near Marina mall, ICE Rink in mall of emirates, water fountain show in dubaimall starts daily 6:30pm and continues after every 30 minutes intervals and do ride on dubai metro train you may jusy park your car in any station and ride from there i think daily pass is like 10 dirhum each..and many more please google it .thanks

1) YES, You must have copies of Iqama of all family members and return tickets.VISA form could be obtained from bank on airport.185 Dirham per passport.
2)Better to take apartment in sharjah as it will be cheap.Bets way is to check hotels/apartments from booking.com as per your budget.
3)Dessert safari, ferrari theme park abudhabi and burj khalifa. Rest of things you can check from https://www.arabian-adventures.com/en/tours-and-safaris/index.aspx. It all depends on your budget and better to take package if you don't have any known person in dubai. It will save your time and efforts and you could feel better.
4) You could go by your own car as well.

it is advised to obtain your visa before you travel. Your travel agent can help you in this issue. If you are buying on line then answer carefully. Profession is not mentioned on passport these days neither allowed to carry IQAMA, The only proof of your professions is on visa stamped.

In simple it is hard to predict for Arabs.

Many Thanks for all who share their experiences and advices.

I cheked with Embassy and they said, if iqama is valid for 3 months and passport has validation of 6 month, you can get VISA on arrival.

Once again Appriciated.
