I have two kids and been here for 7 years, but again its easy because I live in may be the better part of Lahore, overall best decision

@MA
By living abroad you will only earn money but miss out so many things. One will relize when he has money but lost sooooo much. reduce your need and spend maximum in mother land and enjoy.

Service in abroad is not liked in Islam too.

Dear,
It is not a bad decision to return and move back to your home country. Sooner or later, people realize it and do the same. But important point is to realize the culture differences and adjust to the ground realities as soon as you can. Find something that you want to do and put your energies and focus for that objective. Don't sweat about how bad this country is or what you could have done if you had stayed back. There are so much to do and it is full of people that you love in your life. So, take a deep breath, put your chin up and don't let anybody scare you about anything. You have as much right to live in this country as anybody else has. Live here like you own this country. That is how it is.

It all depends on one's attitude towards life. I know few ppl moved back and happy, I see others moved back and then packed up bags to move again out of Pakistan. I am moving next summer with my kids, leaving a very rewarding job for an unknown but I am happy and determined as my motives and intentions are right. I am sure Allah will reward me.

I would also like some comments on this please. I am planning to move back. I have two kids both not at a school going age yet.

- What would be a great help is an estimate of decent living expenses (not with exaggerated needs. for middle class people)

- Job oppertunities in IT sector

Many Thanks

Bad decision is to live in this lawlessness situation, good decision is to come to Pakistan every year regularly with children only for spending holidays.

I moved back home from a gulf country in 2006. Got good job in pk. We were in a market and my wife's volet got stolen in 2008 at a store lost all ID cards and license etc. FIR was registeres in Allama Iqbal town police station. Nothing was found till today. My car was stolen from the front of gate on eid day in 2008. It was having security. In 2009 I sold a house. After selling, two more dealers were asking for comission because, one claimed that house was shown by him first time, and other claimed that finally house was selected by the client because of his effort. There was another dealer to whome I paid comission who was present at the time of deal. In 2009 my wifes bangles were stolen from home by some worker at home. Could not register FIR. I moved back to gulf in 2012. in Marsh 2013. My neighbour in Pakistan informed that your gate is open and looks some theft has happened. This is my bad experience. Alhamdullilah I pay Zakat every year I am sure I shall get better reward on the day of judgement. I have no regret of loosing this much and going back to Pakistan. We live abroad but our heart is always in Pakistan. In Pakistan some people who don't get enough earning as high as their expenses, they don't distinguish between halal and Haram. I have sympathy with them also. The Cost of living has become high. I remember one day I was wandering in stores to search for AAta and one day during the eid days I seached almost 10 petrol stations to search for petrol. May Allah bless my country and people of my country. I love my Pakistan and will be back soon when the gap betwween poor is rich will become less, which is the theam of Islamic economy.

Thanks a lot all the brothers and sisters those who donated with their precious advices!!!!!!!!!

JAZA-KALLAH-HU-KHEIR!!!!!!

Actually I am having nationality in pocket, doing business in petroleum last 10 years and Alhamdulillah proved to Europe that we, the sons of Pakistan, are not less than any one and unfortunately they also proved to me that I am not one of them by showing discrimination, jealousy, cheating and lieing.

So Police, judges, advocates, bookkeepers and even a layman is not happy with you and with your religion. On face laughing with you but on your back talking and acting aginst you.
Now i am reciting the WORDS OF ALMIGHTY with translation and finding who true THESE WORDS are.
"They will never be ours even with give them our meat to eat."
"They will work till you become like them or run away from them."
Subhan Allah!!!!!!!!

So my conclusion is;
We belong to where our Almighty send our soul.

Insha Allah soon I will come back and try to do something now for my land, for my peolple and for myself for Akhirah.

Fi Aman Allah to all you!
Regards,

@ MA

I agree with you said and wish you luck in Pakistan.

If you are planning to move to Lahore, I will suggest stick to areas like Cantt, DHA and Askari for housing.

Try to live local middle class and hopefully you will ok.

I am moving to Pakistan and worked out you would need at least 2 lakh per month. Medical treatment is very expensive.

Initially, you will need at least 12-15 lakh for a decent car.

Malik replied on Monday, September 2, 2013 01:50 PM

Masood uncle
COme back soon. 2 lakh is very very decent salary here in PK. Are you expecting 15 lakh here in PK? By the way what will your do to this huge money, as you are at 60 now?

Suhail replied on Saturday, September 7, 2013 04:53 AM

AOA,

I came back around 7 years back when Musharaf regime was ending. Since then Pakistan suffered worst economical and energy crises, security & governance problems especially under PPP regime. Therefore, I think for middle class people it is not advise able to come here permanently. However, from investment point of view I think Pakistan is a hot spot in the region and is in attracting position.
