she has NICOP, you should not have a problem getting in her name.

Mr Malik ! Offer two Rakat nafal for Hajat and leave every thing in God's hands and you will eventually see Allah's hand in every thing. Its only Allah who can make their future good. This can give you sleepy nights till she turns 18. After 18 years yo can get it done INSHA ALLAH. Man supposes and only GOD disposes. Worries can't solve your problem. Thx

Thank you very much well wisher its very true what you said, but sometimes us Muslims leave everything to God and don't plan for ourselves , I was concerned because in my family I have witnessed the same situation all property taken by relatives and minor daughters left with nothing, Allah him sub ko hadayat da,

Arif replied on Friday, November 15, 2013 04:52 AM

The solution is to become legal guardian of your children and to this effect take guardian certificate from the court. After then you can buy property in your children names and at the same time you will be guardian of your children also as well. This process is present in DHA I have confirmed it.

Nadeem replied on Friday, November 15, 2013 04:53 AM

Call DHA and ask them directly. They'll tell you if its allowed or not.

Hameed Ajmal Sheikh replied on Friday, November 15, 2013 04:55 AM

My advice for you is to buy property in DHA only because nobody else can grab any property. They have no Power of attorney system etc.and only your daughter/son will have to come to DHA office to sell.Never buy in LDA or CDA etc.I have suffered myself in MODEL Town Society Lahore.

@Hameed Ajmal Sheikh, could you please narrate your experience in Model Town Society Lahore?

Thanks
Kind regards,
RA

Future of Bahria is far better than Dha
and It is also very safe and secure.

Adnan replied on Saturday, November 16, 2013 03:52 AM

Malik sb, you might be able to buy it for her on the basis of Nicop, however, if you cannot, you can write a will in her name for that plot, or a halaf nama. My mother has give both me and my brother a halaf nama or will, so if she passes away, we get half of the property each. However, if I pass away, my wife and kids get my share. This document can be registered with a megistrate and should be enough for a legal formality should something happen.

It is not as complicated as you think. You can buy the plot in your name and make your daughter as next of the kin. And later on transfer the plot when ever you think appropriate.

Call Adil saeed whose you phone you have on this page. He can answer your specific questions.

Malik replied on Saturday, November 16, 2013 12:20 PM

Thanks to all the comments I really appreciate it, my daughters are already my next of kin but I've heard as I do not have a son a proportion of my property would go to my Bros and sis as they are already proving to be selfish I don't want any portion to go to them, but I will ask a lawyer to guide me as well

Adnan replied on Sunday, November 17, 2013 06:16 AM

Malik sb, please check with a lawyer, according to my understanding and Quranic instructions which form the basis for Islamic law, wirsa is distributed based on the Quranic formula after distribution according to the will. Therefore, if you have a will in place, it will be executed first and if anything is left after that, it will be distributed based on the law.

Malik replied on Sunday, November 17, 2013 06:24 AM

Dear Adnan
I have been told that Islamic law a will can only be written for people who are not legal heirs like if you want to give something to a charity or an orphan or a relative who is not your legal heir
