My brother who is 23 is planning to make eye laser treatment. Please suggest any good hospital, clinic or doctor which is of world standard in Lahore.

Laser treatment will make retina more thin and weak. Not recommended unless there is job/profession requirement.

My brother (at the age of 35) got this treatment about 5 years back. he was having +4 glasses. He got serious eye irritation, some heart issues and just after 6 months he was asked to put again +5. Doctors could not guess the reasons of high heart palpitation although this problem was recovered after one year.

I did mine in Doha Qatar and cannot be happier, the best thing is find a good dr and make recommendation from two drs atleast.

Also go with latest technolgoy bladeless lazer and most important see dr have done atleast 1000 or mroe surgeries.

I do nto recommond Dr. Lateef, as I went to him few years back he saw me for few minutes and told me that I am already 33 years old, half of my life is gone why do I need lazer, I just walked out on his stuipid remarks!

Removal of glasses through Laser is a very safe procedure now a days.But ur vision should b +3 at least.There is minor % of relapse and complications.

Dear Brothers,

I have done my Lasik for correction my vision in year 2010, after that almost 6-9 Months i have a constant irritation/dryness in my eyes along with glare specially at night times but after passing this phase i m Alhamdulillah perfectly fine and my sight is 6/6 now. BTW I m 41. Lastly as one of contributor mentioned above the main thing one should look for the experienced doctor who should have done these type of surgeries in abundance. I don’t see any complications and success rate for this type of vision correction is close to 98.7 worldwide.

So best of luck and May Allah give you the best cure afterward.
