dear sir my father rented the upper portion of our 10 marla house to a couple who looked decent. as my father is crippled and needs constant medical attention we are in dire need of money and we did not declare our tenants presence to the dha society. now the tenants are refusing to pay the rent and also refuse to evacuate the house. in the lower portion just me, my aunt and my father are living. we are at our wits end and dont know what to do, can some brother offer some advice, also i want to know that if we declare our tenants to the dha now, what will be their response, will they help us? mansoor replied on Friday, March 14, 2014 05:06 PM

You actually need legal help. Contact some good Lawyer who need to file eviction application in the Court, these applications doesn't take much time now a days and house can be evicted in few months. |

I don't think it is a requirement to advise DHA of letting out your property. Go and see Brig Bajwa on 2nd floor of DHA's office in Y block. |

Strongly suggested to visit dha office and meet with responsible officer in person and explain the whole situation whole truth, before hiring a lawyer or moving to court. If they can help it wud b far simpler than going through the legal system. If they cant or wont u can always hire a lawyer and move to court |
