My carpenter is suggesting to build my wardrobes with LASANI wood. I would like to know, how durable is LASANI compared to real wood. Any pros and cons here ?

Unfortunately there is not much choice for making wardrobes in Pakistan. Hence I will suggest you to construct sidewalls with brickwork and then fix ceramic tiles internally white or very light colour and remaining shelves with LASANI sitting on Dowdar wood betten. Seal the front side of shelf with half round Dowdar beading. No colouring but polish all wood features later.
This will be long lasting and no fear of termite and no maintenance.
