Sorry to hear that. I don't think it's ignorance of doctors, more likely the nature of Parkinson's which is many a times difficult to diagnose early in the disease process. Many of the symptoms you mention are possible side effects of Sinamet. Especially hallucinations, sleepiness. You don't get them in Alzheimer's which is the commonest or Mostly vascular dementia which is second common.
Why Psychiatrist, I thought you need a neurologist.
