Lahore Orange Line Metro train project signed with Chinese company

SHANGHAI: Chief Minister Punjab Mia Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif on Thursday have signed Lahore Metro train project with Chinese company.

Shahbaz Sharif signed the contract with the Chairman of the Chinese National Development Reforms Commission in Shanghai.

According to local Media reports President Mamnoon Hussain who already on a visit in China and his Chinese counterpart witnessed the signing ceremony.

According to reports the service will be called Lahore Orange Line Metro Train, while the project will cost 1.6 billion dollars. The rain route will be 27.1 kilometer long.

Shahbaz Sharif while taking to media said the project once complete will benefit millions of people.

@ Pakistani,
Every thing is Ok in pakistan, No one have any prob with Govt. except Imran other wise there must be some protest for purchasing of BMWs.
when you havnt commet on nawaz sharif's BMW, you should not appos to any project for public.
In lahore thousands of people are getting benifit of Bus service.
Batter have metro or else ladres will allow every assembly member to purchase a BMW if money remeins in Govt hand.
and this project is sponcered by China, who is our true freind without doubt.

have you ever visited all over the Punjab visit those areas and then

talk about Lahore and talk about equality not only about Lahore.
